I went here all the time for their gondolas, which they were previously very good and reasonable. I moved away and came to visit and could not wait to go here for their famous gondola. I guess the times have changed since I have been there, the portions are much smaller and they give them only a pupil disc, the right one disc is not a wedge one piece with three bananenpfeffern cut as well. I think maybe there were only two slices of meat. I wasn't impressed. the waitress also gave me mayo on the side of my question, but never gave me a cute to spread the cup of the mayo and never came back to check on me until it was time to pay.
We ordered take out and was told 10 to 15 minutes. 45 minutes later it came, only after I asked what happened to taking 15 minutes. Nothing more than a oh we are sorry was offered. The ladies are nice however they need to learn to recognize that clearly I was visibly getting irritated. I did not complain in there as I assumed they'd compensate for the delay. That's didn't happen. We had high hopes of a good sub after that, however the chicken was dry and there was a lack of sauce. The fries are soggy and pretty much nasty. You get one star on service and one for the food quality. We will not be back nor recommend.
I had my first gandola and was not impressed. The bread was very hard and it wasn't enjoyable at all. There was only one waitress waiting on over eight tables by herself trying to do the best she could but also watched a lot of people walked out without even ordering. The place looks new but unfinished, food was kind of gross. We had the Gondola sandwich since that's what others reviewed as being good. It was on a super skinny rock hard french bread loaf. I shouldn't even call it a loaf. It was more like a stick. My daughter had the spaghetti and the sauce was like tomato paste.
