Vue on Halcyon - Reservar uma mesa

We had lunch with friends at Vue, a restaurant situated in a stunning vineyard setting. The staff was extremely friendly and provided excellent service. The menu offered a good variety of options. We indulged in wine tasting at our table, paired with a delicious starter platter known as the Vue Board. For our main dishes, we chose the slow-cooked lamb shank and prawn tagliatelle, both of which were mouthwatering. We paired our meal with a fantastic chardonnay. Vue had a special promotion on a mixed box of red wines, but I opted for some of the white wines, which still received a discount that day. Overall, it was a phenomenal dining and wine tasting experience.

My family and I were really looking forward to having lunch here and it was extremely disappointing. We waited over hrs for our food. My sister and I ordered a main prawns and there were TINY prawns on a skewer on a...tiny bed of rocket (charged rip off). They ran out of chips, to their credit, they went to their house to get McCain's packet ones out of their freezer which was so nice, only to find out we were charged per bowl. They did provide a free bottle of wine and the waitress staff were very nice. The venue is extremely loud that you could hardly hear the people on your table. The view however was spectacular but we won't be back.

We love this place. Great food, lovely wine, brilliant service and a great venue with beautiful views. We came to Vue on Halcyon to celebrate a year friendship we have had with another couple. This day was perfect. We had a glorious sunny day,...not too hot, and food we chose was delicious. The beef cheeks were melt in the mouth and I was told the gnocchi was very cheesy. Fabulous! I have to mention the cheese board to share. Enough for four with large cheeses plus dried fruit, crackers and quiche paste. If you’re never been you don’t know what you are missing, and with good friends it makes a perfect day.

We had a wonderful lunch for two, with a stunning view of the Yarra Valley. The food was incredibly delicious, the wait staff were friendly and attentive, and the location was pleasantly unexpected (being so close to suburbia).
