If you eat there, you 'll go back to the early 1900. Eating like at grandma 's kitchen. The maidservant will bring you the food, the farmhand will show you the whole place. The roof room Schloof you find beds beside the table and underwear hanging on the line. First floor you find the living room and in the back room you see behind a window the mother pig with the young ones. Also the Tintelompe a old school room and a shop. I have a bad experience with this restaurant because of reasons 1. Waitress didn’t tell us that price of first food (56 sf) is 112 sf, because you need to order two portion. So we were a bit surprised at the end. 2. My wife felt bad. And nobody cared about it. No help. 3. Because of problems with my wife, we ordered food with us, but it was without sauces. Also, the weather was not fine, it was raining. To sum up, it was real bad experience, which costs more than 200 sf
Had a wonderful lunch here with family, the views from the patio are stunning. There’s a large play area to keep the kids happy, and there are also kids to keep the kids happy a small enclosure with goats in at the entrance. Menu was good, wide selection, slight communication error in the kitchen meant my son had to wait for his main, but the staff were good about it and full of apologies.
The restaurant’s decor is beautiful which takes you in a journey of past culture and history. The menu has s limited selection of traditional Swiss food. The prices are what you expect. The place is very spacious and it has a very casual atmosphere. Outside, there is a petting zoo and a small stable and nice playing grounds for kids. The view is spectacular.
