Beautiful selection of local Swabian cuisine...not to write much at home about taste, neither ingenious nor poor. order and pick up the food in the same place; Drinks are picked up at a separate serving area. There are indoor foods, but why are you going in if you can dinate outside, weather permit? The main selling point is its location in the Schonbuch forest; many hiking trails to meander through. There is a small playground for the children, although the main fun seems to build fortresses in the forest while the parents have a beer or two. Cheers!

Wir waren vor 2 Wochen dort essen. wir hatten im Lokal reserviert. Das Essen war gut und reichhaltig aber die Bedienung ging gar nicht unfreundlich und ein Gesicht gezogen als wolle sie uns mitteilen wir sind hier nicht erwünscht. Als es ans zahlen ging hab ich Sie drei mal angesprochen doch es kam nie eine Reaktion, als ich sie dann zum vierten mal etwas lauter und schon leicht genervt ansprach klappte es. Ob ich so schnell nochmal dort hin gehe weiß ich nicht.

Man sucht halt den Biergarten schlechthin. Der ist es aber nicht. Viel zu einfach und fast schon Pommesbudenstyle und -athmosphäre. Immer laut und etwas schmuddelig. Wir mögen das nicht...

Essen war gut und ist auch schnell fertig gewesen. Beim Männer WC kann man sich kaum bewegen, ist viel zu klein. Wenn da gewichtige Männer kommen, dann Gute Nacht.

Lunch with the family of 5. The staff was very friendly. The food was authentic German cuisine. The potato salad was excellent. All the food was very good.
