I've been going to this Wawa for many years since it's my local Wawa, and I have to say over the years Wawa's general food quality has gone down hill, but that's not this locations fault. Wawa corporate has been cutting down on the quality of their foods to more efficiently standardize the process. This location has been renovated and it's pretty nice! I liked the old layout better, but functionally it still gets the job done. This location is always kept clean, and the people who work there are great. Im from Delco and this is by far my favorite Wawa, the food is always great and the people are always nice, but the one employee (Reed) I had an interaction with was by the far the most polite, helpful, succulent, generous and did I helpful?! He reminds me of my grandfather who passed five years ago he?s just got that twinkle in the eye. I feel as if he is not appreciated enough at his work because he is not yet the ceo. Although he is of young age I believe he deserves the best and will go very far in his life.
I live just down the street and used to stop by this restaurant before heading to work on my early shifts. However, I've had some unpleasant experiences. The girl who cleans the coffee area is quite rude and often seems to avoid customers. On one occasion, her mother came into the store while I was there and yelled at me to leave her daughter alone, claiming that I had caused enough trouble, even though we only took her out a couple of times over the weekend. It's been a frustrating experience.
On Sunday, 4/26, I stopped into your store and was waited on by Antoinette. I gave her my money and she gave me $3 change. I stated to her that I thought that I had given her a $20 bill. She was very polite and stated when she opened the cash drawer that she did not have any $20 bills. I said I was sorry and she apologized as well. I found the $20 in my pocket. Wawa has changed their coffee, and it’s not for the better. The new setup with multiple buttons to get your coffee is frustrating, and the coffee itself just doesn't taste like the Wawa brew we love. Thankfully, not all locations have this inferior coffee machine. Just a heads up: contacting headquarters to share your thoughts might not be the best idea.
I just ordered a hoagie, but to my disappointment, all the vegetables and turkey were piled in the center of the bread. When I unwrapped it, I had to arrange everything myself. There was barely any sauce, making it very dry. I usually don't write reviews, but I had to say something today—the hoagies were really terrible.
Wawa, situated at 2050 Sproul Rd in Broomall, PA (Shoppes at Sproul), is a quintessential convenience store. They offer amazing sandwiches and a variety of well-prepared food items. While it may not be upscale, it delivers quality! The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
