Waxbar - Reservar uma mesa

First time in Ypsilanti. As I was leaving dissatisfied from a mexican place out the back, I happened upon a rad dude taking out some trash. I asked him if the waxbar (next door) was any good. Although self admittedly biased (as the owner) he invited me in for 2 of the dopest cocktails I’ve ever had. The vibe in the place is just as good as the drinks. Which makes sense because vibe comes from the owner. Thanks for being a good one Andy! I’ll definitely be back as I’m near. Keep going! And to you, the reader, get yo azz in there!

I LOVE coming to this bar on any night!! The service is always excellent and the staff remembers and what I ordered at my last visit if I'm struggling to remember for myself. The drinks are unique, well made, and aren't shy on the spirits. Furthermore, the drinks are stunningly presented and *almost* a shame to drink. I've taken friends and dates to this bar and I do plan on becoming a regular .

The bar changed ownership and got rid of the vinyl and the vibe. But they are still using the name and all of the previous pictures and glowing reviews even though it's not the same bar.....I don't love that. The drinks are okay but not as good as before. Tastes like they use lower shelf alcohol as the base now.

Bar us in Ypsilanti. To watch sports. Being in a noisy bar atmosphere. The cocktails are very good. Old fashioned, mescal cocktails, delicious basil gimlet

New owner has revitalized this location. Love all the fresh ingredients and I appreciate the smiling friendly staff.
