My sister and I found this little restaurant while taking a stroll through Ruedesheim and stopping at a sign advertising a Porcini Mushroom Tagliatelle. We made reservations for the following evening. Stefan and his wife Ulrike, who is the chef, welcomed us into this small, cozy restaurant where everybody is treated like a friend. Stefan makes his own wine and his recommendation to try the Alte Rebe was a hit. It was one of the best Rieslings I have enjoyed in a while. The Porcini pasta dish was excellent.
