Affectionately called the Red Neck Riveria Wekiva Island is an instituition located on a scenic tip of the Wekiva River. Activities include paddleboards, kayaking, swimming, volleyball and corn hole. Try a new tap beer from their large selection and relax riverside in the many Adirondeck chairs. We are so grateful to have Wekiva Island close by. We love renting a cabana and spending the day on the river. Service in the cabanas is always exceptional. Even if you don't rent a cabana, there is a lot of seating along the river and picnic tables under the pavilion. Bring your own food and drinks (no outside alcohol allowed) or buy from their food truck and bar. Appreciate the air hose for filling up floaties, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. arrive early because the parking lot does fill up.

We love Wekiva Island! The rental of a cabana is the perfect way to spend a Florida day. You will get your own small slice of the sky with one side of delicious dishes from Without Paddle Cafe and cold drinks from the bar. We are always looking forward to spending time on the island!

This place is such an explosion. You can stand kayaks double kayaks canoes on paddleboards. There are people playing corn hole and sitting on the docks while enjoying the Florida wildlife. There's food and a full bar. I will definitely be back!

Wekiva Island is a great place to spend your weekend! Food, water activities, cabanas, volleyball, they have everything! Recommend the frozen Sangria and try food from their local food truck. The Quesadillas are always delish!
