West Bars Tandoori

I have been a loyal customer of Western Bars Tandoori for the past 30 years and have never been disappointed with the food. On New Year's Eve, my family and I decided to order takeout from them. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:41 PM (they have a strange phone system for a restaurant) and placed our order. We were told it would take 1.5 hours for our meal to be delivered, which we understood due to the busy holiday rush. However, when 7:30 PM rolled around and our food had not arrived, we tried contacting them multiple times on different phone numbers and through social media. Westbars has always been my way to stop taking Indians away! first, never order their website! I thought it was easier to pay with the card. an hour later I called to check the restaurant, had received my order...a fast "yes, we have it" no explanation for the long waiting period. I asked how long it would be and was said “not long”. an hour later and eating had not arrived yet, so I called back to say it would be 5 minutes. I wish I hadn't disturbed myself at all. the food did not taste fresh. the disc ktikka was rocky the chicken in all dressed old and dry with a brown color when cutting in. none of the dishes tasted fresh I would never disturb order again. not sure whether the ingredients...

Ordered a take away and was over charged £3.50 and when delivery came I was asked for an extra £1.50 for delivery as they said I was more than 3 and a half miles away but they have delivered many times to us with no...extra charge . I ordered a chicken silsila which I have had many times but I must say the chicken is less and they have bulked the portion out with tomatoes to make the portion the same size . I off course know COVID has affected many businesses but really a busy restaurant /take away that it’s not affected should look after their returning customers . Shame on you !!!!you no longer have our custom along with my family members and friends .

Have ordered for over a year from here and food and service has always been excellent, however tonight the order took 2.20 hours to be delivered after two phone calls and they think this is acceptable

We have been ordering from the fantastic Indian restaurant, for a number of years and we cannot fault it one bit, they deliver on time and with always a smile on their faces.
