Wicklow Cafe - Reservar mesa

This is a hidden gem. If you have eaten there you know what I'm saying, but if you haven't been there or thought about going there you are missing out. I can't think of a thing that I have eaten there that is not great. The rib eye steak on Friday and Saturday specials is the best. On Friday noon they have a noon smog. Come early or you won't get a seat. The people that know about this gem are always there. I think their Korean food is the best, try the U-Dong soup, my personal favourite. The price point is also a favourite of mine, I don't know how they push such amazing food for that price out of that kitchen. The portions are a little big for me, well maybe not the soup. Go and enjoy.

After reading such great reviews, I was excited to try this place. I love Korean love and after reading the reviews I was looking forward to trying this place out. The food came out on a hot plate but the food only covered about 40% of the hot plate. Portions were SMALL and it said it came with veggies. The only veggies were a small amount of shredded cabbage. For almost 16.00 this was a rip off. We wouldn't eat here again. Not authentic Korean and small overpriced portions. Too bad. :(

We were in town for a week and went to Wicklow Cafe in the advice of locals. Five of us had Korean dishes and one had the veal cutlets - which was a generous portion with two crispy cutlets. We had bibimbap - a mix of spicy vegetables, rice, beef topped with a fried egg in a hot stone bowl with a side of broth. Others had several Korean dishes and were satisfied with the flavors and generous portions. Decor is simple and the dining room is comfortably spaced.

I ate here last week for the first and only time. The food tasted fine, but it wasn't the best Korean I've ever had. The meat was fatty and the portion was very small. I was disappointed that the only veggie with my entre was a small amount of cabbage. This meal was nearly double the cost that such a small and simple dish should cost. The service was ok but nothing to rave about. Fix the portions and the pricing and I would consider a second try. Reserve uma mesa agora

This was the first restaurant I ate at when I moved to Estevan. It was quaint, love the decor, simple and quiet but special. and to my surprise, the had Bibimbop on their menu! It was delicious, and I definitely recommend this restaurant. :)

The Friday buffet has a great variety, including sushi. Sometimes there is tempura, which I love! I really enjoy the spicy korean BBQ, and their chicken tenders in the lemon pepper sauce is delicious. Not open on Sunday.
