I'll approach this from a different angle. You don't often think about vegetarian food when you think about a barbecue restaurant. But Wilson shakes the thoughts! They do vegetarian the right way, on separate grills that do not cook meat! Not only that, they have not only one or two vegetarian items, they have an incredible selection! Finally you could try this place! Super fast, the staff was friendly. I have the smoked garlic Parmesan wing, my wife got the buffalo chicken friars. They could definitely say the wings were smoked as the fat smoker rocked my taste buds before followed with a beautiful, light, garlic parmesan flavor. Buffalo chicken fries were also fabulous. Fries were beautiful and crispy, sauce was plentiful. Although they were spicy when my wife expected, they still enjoyed them very much. Steve, the owner (big guy) came out and chatted with us for a few moments and told me they could also take the smoked wings and throw them into the frit for a little to put them on a completely new level... I lived in Houston TX at one point in my life, so I know something or two about BBQ. They're going to Wilson and it's got this smokewood smell. The brisket (lean brisket) was quite as good as you can do it. slightly pulled apart, had a nice bark on it, had strong taste. The BBQ sauce was also solid. For my pages I had baked corn bread, Mac n cheese and beans. Grain bread was really good - but the part was very small. The beans were good. The Mac N Cheese was a 'dry 'Mac and cheese I usually don't like, but that was DELICIOUS. BBQ is not really a big deal in the north, so I didn't try too many places around Philly, but I can't imagine that there are any places better than this in the area!

Hands down one of the best barbecue places around. This is a must visit place for anyone who loves barbecue. They have outdoor seating and the staff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the brisket and pulled pork. The sweet potato corn bread is a must try.

From here we ordered a number of paintings. The boys are getting better with time. In addition to great food, they are also great community supporters.
