what a brilliant evening. there were many interesting dinge on the special board, but at the end we chose the steak special by woodman and it was absolutely delicious. the steak was nicely cooked and so tender that it melted almost in the mouth. it was served on a hill of mushrooms and new potatoes with a delicious beside salad. the service was great, and the amaretto tiramisu finished the meal a tasty bite

Great camper stop with adjacent field in good weather and good climbing frame and swings for the children!. Very helpful and hospitable. Food is reasonable and has good selection of beers. It is near the road but not too much traffic after 10pm. They could put in electric hookup and a water tap to make this a perfect place for motorhomes but definitely up there with the better pub stops!

a warm and friendly reception of management and service personnel. they have accommodated four of us, although they have not booked for an evening meal. fantastic eating served hot and fresh, usually all local veg etc. excellent value and portion sizes. we would recommend this pub for food, ease and price.

I drove several times from this pub and always wanted to jump in. beautiful that I did it, as it was nice, inside, with friendly, polite staff and great ales. it didn't eat, but next time I wanted to give myself more time. many parking spaces outside.

in I.O.W on vacation. we discovered the woodmans. brilliant, friendly staff and great eating. both had the garlic mushrooms to begin, the woman had brewed the king linguine. I had the lasagne, the right home made good food. again in the week.
