Um.. WOW. I Coulda spent like 2 hours in here. They have all of the candy in the world and a bunch of nick nacks. The chopped beef is AMAZING. It is like the edges, which are the BEST. The sliced brisket is not nearly as good as the ends. I got some picked okra, which is perfect. Bought some lemon shortbread, some pecan pie, AND some bayou goo pie. They were all amazing. There was a sitting area to enjoy the chopped brisket and the delicious cole slaw. I also found the world 's best half and half from Texas Tea Company. I will stop by next time I come through here. Was headed southbound, but read the reviews and crossed over to the north!

We love stopping here when we get to Houston. The smoked meats are by far some of the best in the country. The shrimp filled jalapeño paprika packed in bacon is fantastic. I wish I had bought two. We also love the rubies and sauces! Many truck parking, clean toilets, friendly and helpful staff and amazing food.
