Yamato Japanese Steakhouse

Compared to other hibachi resturaunts, this was OK. My sushi appetizer roll was sent back bc the rice was sour. The chef said it was the vinegar (my husband said he could smell the massive amounts of vinegar in the rice every time they opened the pot when we were waiting for our table by the sushi bar). All sushi rice should hve some rice vinegar but this rice was sour, as in it was old and about to turn. The lobster tail was overcooked- it tough watching your food overcook on the hibatchi table right in front of you. i come here quite often atleast once a month for dine in and it’s always good the portions are a good size and i always leave with a little leftovers….. today i got togo and its like i ordered from a totally different place, no season everything is dry , steak is overcooked, half the amount of rice is get if i ate in yet i paid the same , broccoli undercooked and has a weird taste like it’s going bad and i asked for broccoli and zucchini only and ended up with broccoli and mushrooms …

I was dining with my friends and one of them had a seafood allergy, she mentioned it to the cook and they still mixed the seafood with her food contaminating it making her sick. Luckily her allergy was mild but what if it wasn't? Please be careful next time! The food was great, though the rice was a bit too crunchy

Great place. Large and in charge. Prices comparable to other Japanese steak houses. I had filet , steak and scallops. Wife had shrimp. She ate half and brought rest home. It filled the Togo . Reserve uma mesa agora

My new favorite Japanese spot. Service was amazing. There was no wait and the chef was very entertaining. My girls and I had a good time.
