Ye Old Buck Inn - Reservar mesa

I discovered this hidden gem while searching for somewhere to stay on the day of our trip to the Mid Norfolk Polar Express. The village is absolutely beautiful and the pub is lovely. I immediately wished we had booked two nights so we could enjoy it for longer and explore the area. Check-in and payment were all done online, so we simply picked up the keys at the bar and were shown to our room. It was warm and cozy, with the sofa bed already made up for the children. I must mention the bed - even though we have a king at home, the bed at this place was huge and incredibly comfortable. It felt like I had the whole bed to myself! The wet room bathroom was wonderful, smelling amazing and stocked...

We stayed at the Honingham Buck for two nights and ate dinner in both nights. The room was very comfortable, we opted for one of the smaller rooms but thought it was plenty big enough for us and very good value for money, the room rates are low compared to most places these days and included breakfast either full English or a few other choices. The food in the evenings surpassed expectations. It was creative, tasty and plentiful, service was excellent with an exceptionally pleasant team of people. We will without doubt return within the not too distant future. Good location for Norwich and local national trust properties.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights to visit The Polar Express. We arrived on Friday night and enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant. The food was of great quality and the staff were excellent. Our family room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was good, although we wished there were more fruit and child-friendly cereal options. Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of our stay and would definitely return in the future.

The restaurant was bustling, but the serving staff and kitchen were efficient, and we were served in a timely manner, which was a plus. We tried a variety of appetizers, all of which were excellent. I had never tried Lacon's beer before, but it paired nicely with my meal. We shared a dessert, which was also delicious. Overall, the pub food was of high quality, served quickly, and at competitive prices. Definitely a worthwhile dining experience. Reserve uma mesa agora

Excellent from the word go such a warm welcome, lovely setting and comfy chairs. The food was excellent, great choices and all enjoyed! The service was attentive, friendly and professional just as it should be. All in all an excellent experience. This was our first visit but it most definitely won't be our last!

The food, service and beer were all excellent. My wife had the cheese and onion tartlet and loved it, my squid starter was very good too. My steak was superb and my wife's sea bream was excellent. The beer was well kept. Service was pleasant and in good time. Great night's dining experience.

The most delicious roast beef I’ve had in a long time! If you like pink, beautifully cooked sirloin, whopping Yorkshire puddings and a good selection of vegetables with cauliflower cheese, this is definitely the place for you!

The meal we got was just warm.Turkey was formed. Beef was stringy.Batter Puddings was Soggy.Roast Potatoes wasnt good.We was all looking forward to our meal and disappointed when we got it. Chairs was highly stained! Reserve uma mesa agora

Nice staff, a friendly welcome and the drinks were good. Having read all the reviews I had high hopes for the food but was a little underwhelmed unfortunately… Perhaps I chose the wrong thing

Great food, good variety and nicely presented. The main dining room was a bit chilly, but the main bar and seating area seemed cosier with more atmosphere
