Ye Old Buck Inn - Reservar uma mesa

I discovered this hidden gem while searching for somewhere to stay on the day of our trip to the Mid Norfolk Polar Express. The village is absolutely beautiful and the pub is lovely. I immediately wished we had booked two nights so we could enjoy it for longer and explore the area. Check-in and payment were all done online, so we simply picked up the keys at the bar and were shown to our room. It was warm and cozy, with the sofa bed already made up for the children. I must mention the bed - even though we have a king at home, the bed at this place was huge and incredibly comfortable. It felt like I had the whole bed to myself! first post-Covid visit, this time for a family celebration. eat excellent: delicious, well presented, and done to perfection. sea roast, steak, kichererbseneintopf and other dishes all melt-in-the-mouth gorgeous. Unfortunately, the service here seems to have made a serious setback compared to previous visits, starting with the young lady behind the bar, which was far too busy keeping a refrigerator to recognize us even in our future, prefer us while they ended to what were significantly more important. we sat on a large table in a semi-private alcove, which was appreciated until we realized that it only stressed the lack of attentiveness of the staff: no one bothered to ask if our meal were...

We stayed at the hotel for two nights to visit The Polar Express. We arrived on Friday night and enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant. The food was of great quality and the staff were excellent. Our family room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was good, although we wished there were more fruit and child-friendly cereal options. Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of our stay and would definitely return in the future.

this is the third time that we have dined at the buck, although it is a bit of a trip for us it is worth it. the eating is excellent, the service is overriding and the seats are comfortable, the sunday roast is one of the best round and the weekday menu is very good. is a bit of a hidden gem, even better, they can book through opentable, which is a bonus, especially in the last minute. highly recommended

The meal we got was just warm.Turkey was formed. Beef was stringy.Batter Puddings was Soggy.Roast Potatoes wasnt good.We was all looking forward to our meal and disappointed when we got it. Chairs was highly stained!
