Second time here. Went for Valentine’s Day. Very displeased with overall dining experience. Food was good, but nothing wow about it. Ordered the more expensive wine pairing but there was no connection between the wine and the dish, I think the sommelier really missed the mark on this. The menu was changed and nuts were added to some dishes which were not previously there. I was surprised to see they didn’t ask about allergies before we ordered as two dishes came with them and there was a nut allergy issue. The space was crowded and loud, I realize it’s a holiday. My boyfriend treated me to Yono's for Valentine’s Day, and I have to say, Yono's was probably one of the best culinary experiences I’ve ever had!We had their special Valentine's menu, which offered a 6 course tasting menu, and we decided to go with the wine pairings, which was an excellent choice. What an absolutely beautiful restaurant for occasions such as anniversaries, graduations, birthdays and more. My boyfriend and I went to Yono’s to celebrate our 5 year anniversary tonight and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. Not only was the staff amazing, helpful, attentive and sweet, but the food itself was some of the best food we’ve ever had. The experience was unlike any other and the wine pairings that go with the meal were amazing. Albany’s best kept secret! Why is this place hidden in the back of a hotel needs to be a stand alone venue downtown! Excellent food, prepared and served exquisitely impressive wine list. Very nice and attentive staff. I just wish the room was nicer.

If I could give this a 0 I would. The owner (Dominick P) and workers at Yonos are disrespectful , unprofessional, and flat out rude. Their food is as disgusting as their attitude… especially alice.
