Yu's Asian Kitchen

Last week we placed a large takeout order and ordered the wonton soup, only to find out it was actually a Lanzhou soup when we got home. Last night we decided to give the restaurant another try, but when we ordered the wonton soup they were out of it, as well as the boar rolls. The dim sims were also very small. The reason given was that the restaurant had recently opened a new location in Kingston and all their dumplings and wontons were being made there. Additionally, when I ordered scrambled eggs, I received steamed rice instead. We will not be returning to this restaurant and instead plan to drive to Sandy Bay to purchase from Mewah where I can be confident that my order will be correct.

This restaurant may lack in ambiance, but makes up for it with the delicious food they serve. It appears that many customers may have left due to the atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and we were pleased with every meal we tried. Our children also enjoyed their dining experience.

I was extremely disappointed with the toughness of the satay lamb and sweet and sour pork with steamed rice at this restaurant. The meat was overcooked and not enjoyable to eat. Despite paying good money for these dishes, they were not up to par with what I have had in the past.

friendly service, excellent authentic cuisine and great prices....Perfect combination. we spoke in front and enjoyed our meal take away, serving with free garnel cracker. would be highly recommended.

Food was good and service was ok. Place looked a bit tired but the food keeps us coming back. Worth dropping in if you are craving Chinese food.
