Zaap Lai Thai And Lao Cuisine

This place was so, so good! Probably the best food I have ever had in this area. You can tell it’s really authentic, and 100% better than other similar restaurants around here. Can’t wait to go back and try the curry and Thai pad. Service was very slow though, with the exception of the appetizer, but I wasn’t bothered by it after I received my food and tried it, it was worth the wait. The waitress was nice and sweet and gave us a refill of Thai tea for our trouble waiting. Totally recommend this place!

Really a find, although it has been there for a while, we finally have to taste the delicious food. The atmosphere is great, the staff are very attentive and good and friendly and the food is excellent. I've tried many Thai food places in my travels, but never Lao's food. And that was incredible. Flavoring is incredible. The vegetables are cooked for perfection. The meat was tender and juicy. I'll be back soon.

You can always judge a Thai place through its pad Thai and this pad Thai is savory, chewy and sweet. I loved the extra lime and peanuts served on the side. We had the crab Rangoon appetizer that was crispy, light and perfect. My husband had a stirring fry dish with rice that was delicious. We will definitely come back!

I was often in this restaurant and the food is always delicious. Casual, not a Frills interior, and reliable, good service. Soup prices seem high, but the soup proportion is huge. Order the vegetable tempura appetizer, and your taste buds will thank you.
