Zaferan Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

It came to dinner last night. We shared 3 different dishes to start with pomegranate and hummus. The food is so perfectly seasoned that we hardly had anything left. The meat is not overcooked. The basmati, which can be either overcooked and dry or goopy and wet, was cooked to perfection and beautiful and fluffy! The food is cheap and the place was clean with plenty of seating on a Friday night. You can call and reserve to ensure that your group has a seat. Eating was so good that I'm absolutely back.

Food is really good with good portion sizes. We ordered Zaferan family platter for 4 of us along with a side (Mirza Ghasemi) and it sufficed for all of us. It came with plenty of rice and thus it was a but dry, so we asked if we can get any garlic dip . We thought it 'd be just a condiment but we were served maast o mushir , a person yogurt blended with garlic and shallots. This was surprising to us as the waiter did not clarify we 'd be charged for it!! I 'm taking a star out for this.

The first time I came here was with my staff, and we were treated wonderfully from the time we went through the door until we were gone! It belongs to the family, and everyone works really well together. Excellent service aside, the food was to die for! Everything was so delicate and cooked for perfection. Like a FlAVOR! I literally dream of some of the dishes I had here, and I am always excited to introduce new people for a real Persian experience. A must try!

On the two occasions I was here, the food was incredible. The chicken is so tasteful, the rice is light and fluffy, and the sorted dives with Pita are addictive. If you live at the north end of the valley, make the trip to Cottonwood Heights – you will not regret it. Take the remains home and eat them for breakfast.

Great experience and food. Service was really fast and super friendly staff. Beautiful decorations and interiors. Eating was just perfect, big portions and tasteful. Very recommended.
