Zebra Striped Whale

Ice cream was just ok, nothing special. Young kids working behind the counter on a Sunday night, radio blaring away to the point you could hardly hear anything. Dirty dishes are right next to clean lids ones behind the counter. Store is small, the room behind (sort of a lounge area) was bigger that the ice cream area. Cost for large ice cream (about 4 scoops) was rather expensive almost $10.00. Overall experience was not good.

It's cute! Yes, service was a bit slow, yes, it is overpriced, but it is a treat and you don't treat yourself every day... If you want Rita's water ice this is not your place. Crepes are good, way fuller than I expected... The place definitely needs a few more people behind the counter. Ice cream flavors are good but we didn't go for ice cream. Stop by for a treat on a hot afternoon!

We actually love stopping here, but leaving 3 stars in hopes the owner would reduce the selection for the sake of the staff. I was in on Sunday, it wasn?t too busy, but the complicated assortment of treats, coffee, crepes, ice cream, etc, make it difficult to quickly deliver service. The 2 young ladies were great, but please give them a break and optimize your menu!

Ice cream tastes great. Service is more often than not slow. Coffee tastes like water and the small americano comes with one esspreso shot? Had to ask to make my special ice cream bowl look like the picture. Lastly, I get that the local area is quite wealthy, but the prices are quite high for the service and size of the portion. It's just okay here.

Worth it! Place during that time seemed dreadful and empty, but since it was Memorial Day I cannot judge the area. As for the ice cream. You get almost 3x the amount for your $5ish. And it?s on a cold stone as well which is very good for Toppings within the ice cream.
