Zippy's - Reservar uma mesa

I know that each location may do things s little different from one another but it does make for a unpleasant surprise when your expectation from one location isn't meet by another. I ordered my usual late night chili cheese fries snack and although the taste was spot on, the portion wasn't quite as substantial as what I'm used to getting from other locations. I'd guess it was about a 1/4 to a 1/3 less than my normal. Besides that I would also add that was my only issue with the location. Everything else was just the way it should be if not better. Clean restaurant area, clean bathroom, and pleasant staff that even went as far as to give, me and a friend, water cups since we didn't order dri...

We live equally between Waipio and Waipahu zippy's but prefer the Waipahu location because it's brighter/cleaner, is staffed with some of the nicest workers and has good-sized parking stalls that you don't feel worried about squeezing into. The daily specials are supposed to end at 9:30 or when they run out, but a couple times we tried ordering about 5-10 minutes after and the servers/cooks are nice enough to make it happen. One of our favorites is the Won Ton soup (not the Won Ton min... no need the noodles) and if you order double garnishes for extra egg, choi sum, green onion and char siu, it's only a whopping $0.70 more!!!

Dive only due to Covid but before Kovid Kovid large space for a snack or a complete meal. Plenty of space inside and outside. The staff is quickly friendly and helpful. No matter what I ordered, it was good. A menu item I always enjoyed was the Orange Blast. An orange juice article that tastes much better than any soda!

Oxtail soup was ono. Good portion and flavor. It was unexpectedly light for me. I didn't feel over stuffed after finishing the bowl and all the soup. I'm interested in trying the turkey neck one next time. Service was pretty quick also. However, there didn't seem to be that many customers when I visited (Wednesday 3pm).

Staff was excellent. Props to manager that helped us a lot. Didn?t get her name, but she moved to Oahu from the mainland. The chili and naples is the best.
