Zum Heiligen Stein

Da haben wir dem Restaurant nach einem eher schwierigen Jahr 2016 im letzten Quartal wieder eine Chance gegeben. Alle Softskills im Restaurant haben sich geändert und das leider nicht zum Positiven. Im Oktober hatten wir gute Steaks mit Pommes für sage und schreibe 38,00 Euro!!!. Da hat wohl bei der Kalkulation jemand vergessen, das Muschenheim nicht das Frankfurter Bankenviertel ist, auch wenn der Eigentümer dort sein Geld gemacht hat. Alles noch kein Problem, wir geben dem Haus im November 2016 eine zweite Chance. An einem Freitagabend um 21.00 Uhr sind wir die letzten Gäste, dies verwundert!! Gleiches Problem wie im Oktober. Dinner for two, a vegetarian. Service impresses from arrival to departure. Offer a range of seating inside and outside and went with the outdoor option despite a temperature of 38. Cuisine that was common here in Italian restaurants was quite a nice dish of pifferling mushrooms and onion and quite delicious. My partner had a vegetarian entree Fagottini and I had a lamb back band on beans with salad with red wine reduction. Both meals were very delicious and the red wine reduction was absolutely excellent. Believe it or not, it was my last power in Germany and I was dying for the perfect Weinersnitzel, but was reluctant to get the usual German potato salad, so I asked for Polnta instead of side. Antonio brought both for me and encouraged me to try her potato salad, the honest one was a revelation! Major “w” factor... yes potato salad got a “About the conversation, stop and taste wow factor dish” Lol. The weinerschnitzel was brilliant and everything else. Wir sind auf der Durchreise zufällig an diesem Restaurant vorbei gekommen und haben hier ganz fantastisch zu Abend gegessen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Insbesondere konnte man gute Empfehlungen aussprechen. Das Essen war lecker und von besonderer Qualität, vor allem die Creme Brulee hat es uns angetan. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und in Kombination mit ruhiger Lounge-Musik war der Abend gelungen. Vielen Dank!

Sehr gute Küche, super Ambiente.Preise für das Essen sehr fair und angemessen, die Weine sind gut aber relativ teuer.
