"Could not fault the food but the owner waiter bullied us into following his recommendations from start to finish including the wine without letting us even see a menu. The bill for 360 Euro’s for four of us was way over the top and we felt cheated and unhappy with our naivety"

From the moment I walked in the door, I had a bad feeling. Other than my group of four, the restaurant so small and dusty. The waiter was rude from the start. When I asked for new table, he looked at me like me and like Im stupid because Im from USA. The beverage he served me was warm the water not cold down no Ice for it, so I didn’t drink it.While waiting for my food, I realised my chair was dirty and wet. When I complained to my waiter, he told me he didn’t believe me and did no change anything. We waited a long time for our food. I ordered Vegetarian and got some paprika and cheese from the store. I wanted to leave, but I was also famished. My friends pleaded with me to stay. The restaur...

The restaurant is very cozy and have a great atmosphere. Prices are above average, but the most important thing be very careful of what the host is offering as starter (he is not mentioning the prices and you will have a very nice surprise at the end . We have a very bad experience with two platers that he proposed to us, their prices being almost as much as the main courses. So we had an experience exactly like in Greece where people for a coffee and a juice are charged with 50 euro : . The platers was not supposed to be at that price, but, what can we say, inattention must be paid. In rest, the food was very good !

The menu has a range of Mediterranean options without being too extensive but we decided to go with the several course seasonal menu which was fantastic. The restaurant is cosy and this together with the very friendly owners provides a great atmosphere. The wine selection is only surpassed by the selection of digestifs. Not knowing a great deal about either we left these to the recommendation of Andreas. A great place we would love to return to.

We had oysters from France and mediterranean vegetables with a fish selection as an appetizer absolutely delicious! The home made bread was really fantastic, too. As a main we had grilled wild sole from Northern Atlantic very good. A visit to this restaurant one should not miss when in Linz! It is definitely recommendable! We are looking forward to coming back.
