One of my workdays near Vienna (I jammed a total of two days ' work into an eight day trip...oh, the burdens... ended at mid day, and so Madame and I headed out for lunch to Marktamt (the Market Office in Baden. We 've dined in and around Baden...before, but for some reason had not come across Marktamt; Madame 's excellent internet research skills turned up favorable notices, however, and in the event the place turned out to be a really fine surprise. The establishment is in what seems to be a renovated hotel just across the street from an open marketplace as the name would suggest and on this hot, sunny Tuesday in July service was out front, under umbrellas whose shade was helped out by occ...

brand is a great place to relax and let the world pass. the menu leads them to celebrate a special event. it is a special place to celebrate seafood in the middle of a country locked country! the star of the evening was...the most precious maine lobster presented in various styles. everything from aperitifs to lobster thermidor and lachs and desert was delicious, tasteful and presented with professional style and know. maine lobster is steamed in several different styles with exception.

Visited for dinner alone but staff was very welcoming and helpful. Good recommendation by staff in selection of food. Carpaccio was excellent. Had a vey satisfying dinner. Highly recommended though a little pricy for the average ambience and settings in the restaurant.

We came late evening almost on closing time, but the staff was very welcoming. We had fish that was prepared excellently. We do recommend this restaurant warmly.

Excellent dinner with perfect service! Highly recommended even if I had dinner on my own. Staff made me feel welcome and served an excellent prawn jambalaya!
