The middle section looks very nice (see pictures! If you pay a visit, you should sit here. It was not by chance that it was fully booked during our visit in the evening. Unfortunately there was nothing special in the other rooms. Eating was fine, portions were big enough. I have seen a better service before, but it corresponds to the average German standard.

Visited here last year and the good was exceptional with Friendly service, this year as it was my husband's birthday and we have friends In the town we all met up for a meal. Again the food was exceptional, large portion s and very reasonably priced. Situated I the Martkplatz is with walking distance to the hotels. Fab night Danke Zum Ochsen x

We came to lunch and sat outside at the table. It was very cool and relaxing. We ordered Thuringia Sausage and Goulash with Tagliatelle. The serving was big and the food was delicious. We also had a nice German beer.

We had the usual suspects: - Knodelsuppe - Frankonian sausage salad - German Bratwurst with Sauerkraut and potato salad Everything was perfect. Service was excellent. Location great - at the main square.
