Yesterday we were walking through the street and returned to the sheel spontaneously. we regretted it afterwards. the price-performance ratio was absolutely wrong. the food was a fall. the corn-taler supplement was black fried, in the tomato-spargel vegetables were small-cut spices in it, which caused the green asparagus and the tomatoes not to taste. the salmon was good, but cold, as the sweet as well after the returned teller with two slightly better looking corn balls then returned after 10 minutes. a culinary adventure in a beautiful medieval department store. there is a vegetarian menu that also offers some vegan options (just ask for the vegetarian menu.) the composition and taste of the dishes is unique, I have never seen or tasted anything like it. it is a little expensive and the portion sizes are small, but it is worthwhile for the extraordinary experience. the quality of the ingredients is also good and the personal is professional and friendly. the architecture and the atmosphere of the building is beautiful. in any case one must visit when they are in stralsund! updated by the previous review on 2021 12 26

Beautiful restaurant in the historic house with outdoor areas in the courtyard and on the street. We were there for lunch and the cook together were some vegans. Focaccia with grill and curry sauce. After that we were back in the evening and tried the vegan card. The upscale kitchen keeps what it promises! Refined cooking creations from regional products, plus excellent service. We'll be back when we get back!
