we had reserved for a Christmas test - dinner.We were led to a brightly illuminated table that was directly leaning towards the decorated breakfast buffet. when we lifted the wine bottle from the table, a black dread was on the tablecloth. the eating was not intoxicating. the gooseshmalt was more liquid than stroking. the salate was soaked in vinaigrette and the mixture of feldsalate, warm apple columns and speck (not boiled more) was unappetiable. the gans in itself was delicious, even the cracks were great, but the rest of the supplements like red cabbage, maroons and rose cabbage are getting more tasty in every kantine. the marons were still raw and inedible. we were there for the second time and otherwise satisfied, but not today. we wanted to eat carving and a suppe to the appetizer, this was unfortunately salted, I said nothing since I thought it would be better. but then we got unfinished pommes to our carvings, which were completely musky inside. When I was complaining about this, I offered a free dessert as compensation, which was unfortunately a sticky wallnusseis with a sneak and eierlikör. Unfortunately, that was not tasted.After that we had paid more reluctantly, I shared this with the service, but only the other guests were satisfied instead of a sensible excuse.

we were on our Sunday trip to the gasthof. the service was very friendly. we had a pfifferling cream soup that tasted excellent. Then I had a rumpsteak, my man a jägerschnitzel. the scavenger was in order, the rumpsteak was very thick when some small pieces section it went. was not my case. Moreover, it was very loud there played children in the restaurant I take the belongings to the house, the senior manager was a little annoyed behind the counter. So for a beautiful Sunday lunch I was a bit disappointed.

this restaurant in the middle of mespelbrunn an der wald rande is specialized in German dishes. there are even seasonal offers that include ceremonies or fresh dishes with pfifferlingen. eating in itself is always very excellent and always fresh. the prices are more than favorable for such large portions that you can hardly eat completely. after the meal they can then decompose the eaten calorie in the nearby forest again to a walk. the air on the outside terrace is therefore always very clear and healthy. I've been out on business and I've been here again and again in the last few years. again and again, and that out of good reason, which are sleek are friendly, u the rooms large and clean, nicely furnished (is an old house) and eating is really good. chef cooks himself (with)? and even I as well known as disgusting mauler and wiser have always been very satisfied. I'll be back.

delicious food. we were there for three and ordered all different fish dishes. the fish was super tasty and above all generous large portion. you were more than tired. we were three very enthusiastic. even some extra desires to drink and dress were fulfilled without questioning. absolutely top!! We are coming back!

in a cheerful and informal atmosphere, together with locals, in rooms furnished in a rustic and welcoming way, you can get excellent German dishes, abundant portions. very good courses based on fresh mushrooms. Good prices. It's a shame that the kitchen closes at 20.30!

both the pfifferlings and the stone mushroom dishes were from the most delicious! the morning freshly collected in the surrounding forests, the mushrooms were prepared in various delicious dishes. friendly service and unbeatable cheap prices for good local beer.
