Zur Kluse - Reservar uma mesa

Visitamos o restaurante Kluse no domingo para o almoço, após algumas visitas bem-sucedidas, boa comida e ambiente agradável. Não tínhamos reservado uma mesa, estava quente e nos disseram que poderíamos sentar do lado de fora, o que foi agradável e eles fornecem cobertores de lã se ... você sentir frio. Meu marido pediu um schnitzel de porco que estava bom, eu pedi uma salada que parecia melhor no menu do que parecia no prato quando finalmente chegou: era uma mistura de salada, muito sabugo de milho sem gosto, guarnições de salada, molho demais que se acumulou no fundo do prato decorado com grandes fatias de batata. Havia um grande espeto de camarões grelhados e pedaços de frango. A qualidade...

I went there with my family in August. The weather was great so we chose a table outside. It was a busy evening but there were still some open tables. We waited 16 minutes till the waitress came to our table for the first time. Since it was a busy sunday they only offered a limited menu with around 8 or 9 dishes. Once our drinks were served the waitress spilled beer all over my brother's pants - and she didn't even apologize! We waited on our food for 1 hour and 32 minutes - without prior notice - and the food was not that tasty. Especially the schnitzel was a big disappointment. I've been here twice and it's a lovely place. Modern décor with a vibrant atmosphere. Good food selection including typical German fare. Staff are friendly and speak reasonable English although they do not have English menus. It's probably worth booking to ensure you get a table. Travel time by car is about 15 minutes from central Essen.

Beautiful scenery and location. The restaurant is situated in an old House with the typical structure for NRW. The kitchen is great, very traditional German kitchen with a creative touch.
