Small space with big diner-style meals! To start, the chicken sandwich is the choice for first-time 1st Place Cafe goers, and be hungry when you come. It is huge and is a take on a southern-style chicken sandwich. Service takes a minute, depending on the time of day. I have gone at lunch, and before they close, times to wait were longer. The server takes the order at the register and brings it to the table when done. But I think they only have room for one server, my guess from observing. Soft drinks are bottles, and you can order a cup of ice with them. If you get french fries with a sandwich, expect to get about 1 lb of fresh diner style fries made with peanut oil. Service 5 5 Employees were attentive and polite.Speed 0 5 Easily took an hour to get our meal. Only 1 2 other tables eating.Food 3 5 We ordered a chicken sandwich fries, burger fries, and kids chicken strips. We instantly noticed the breading color on the kids chicken was off and the same on my sandwich. It wasn’t raw but the breading was odd off. Guessing the oil wasn’t hot enough. Burger was really tasty! Fries weren’t exactly to my liking but that’s a personal preference.

First time at First Place Cafe the food was very good and the service was great. They were very friendly and helpful and you get plenty of food. If you leave hungry it's your own fault. I had the bacon steak burger and fries. Burger was cooked perfect and the fries were seasoned just right.

They are made to order so it may take longer than expected however — the burgers are gigantic and delicious and the fries are great and the portions are huge! 10/10

Great food, good service. Atmosphere is fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. Would definitely eat there again.
