Attended this restaurant yesterday evening based on the good reviews online. The service was very pleasant, my friend and I order a number of dishes. However, we ordered the squid ink crab pasta from the specials board. My friend and I only had a small amount and we were very disappointed with the dish, the crab was not visible and the overall taste of the dish tasted like tuna. I explained to the waitress that my friend and I were unable to eat the dish, it was not a pleasant dish to eat and she took it away. Honestly, AG is overrated. The wine manu is nice, but even on a quiet night it's hard to get service. There are no vegan options on the menu and very linited vegetarian and gluten free options. I think AG should stick to wine and snacks you won't get a meal here. Dietary restrictions: If you're vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free, you'll only get wine here... Price per person: A$20–40

Outstanding restaurant in Penrith. Really superb food, had the $80 feed me menu. Chef served us at the table and explained the dishes, nice touch. All dishes excellent with the entree platter a real stand out. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, will definitely be visiting again. Can’t understand a few of the negative reviews but each to their own! Food: 5

Service, Cocktails and Food were all excellent as was that atmosphere. The menu seems to change on a regular basis and some may consider it a bit limited but it's a bar not a restaurant. Good selection of spirits and wine. All around enjoyable. Price per person: A$80–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
