Almer Schlossmuhle Florian Schmelter

I visited my parents for a weekend in my home village and we went to Almer Schlossmühle to try something else for dinner. The service was really good very polite, fast, and attentive. I especially liked that they explained each course to us my parents had a surprise menu (3 courses) so they did not automatically know what was on their plates... Also, when realizing that I am vegetarian, they were super flexible with offering me another (meatless) amuse gueule. I ordered the pumpkin soup with nutmeg as starter and the Carinthian noodles as main course. Both dishes were very delicious and seasoned well, I was really happy with my food choice. To conclude, I can highly recommend Almer Schlossmü...

This place is great. Florian Schmelter is a great host and also an excellent chef with a lot of empathy for his guests. The service staff is absolutely top and always friendly. We loved the food that is really award-winning cuisine. Luckily we spent two evenings in this wonderful restaurant and could therefore taste a few different dishes. Everything is so good and so special! If you give Florian the opportunity to create the surprise menu by yourself, you will be absolutely impressed. Also we very happy enough to rent one of the nice small apartments of Martin where we feel at home. Everything is simply unique and very peaceful. Thank you.

We, a party of four, had the Thai soup, carving and braided shoulder of beef, all really delicious. The restaurant was very crowded on Saturday night, so our waiters/waxes had to be reminded of our wine, which finally came when we finished half the main course and lost our coffee again. The service was always friendly clear 3 people were not enough for the work volume. Would go again!

My colleagues and I were treated for a delicious meal in this beautiful restaurant. The service was exceptional and the environment was impressive. I had baked chicken starters with a very fresh and tasty salad, carving for main, which I enjoyed very much and a traditional Austrian dessert.

Get out of the beat path and come here. It's worth it. I recommend most items in the menu. Portions are big, so I suggest sharing the appetizers. Dessert Prima!!!
