I went to aromatic last night with my parents and it was one of the best meals we had. we chose the tasting menu and shared a bottle of wine all very cheap and good quality. it was my first time to try a few things (shampering and skalopps! and I loved everything. I speak French when I lived in lyon, but the waiters were great to change from and to English to explain the menu to my parents. beautiful restaurant, great eating and very friendly staff. a perfect night and cannot wait to visit again when I am in lyon. thank you! lauren edinburgh, Scottland
we stayed in the Bellacore area and had not realized how uphill it would be in the restaurant that we later learned that it is called the "400 stages". but it was definitely worth it. a charming couple oriented. wait staff very helpful in the explanation of the...menu three nice courses for e40. I was particularly impressed by my main court and the cheese plate was very delicious. good selection of wein and a reasonable price for a good experience.
Everything was really perfect, from the waiter (knowledgable, nice) to the food and wine. The menu is interesting creative and sophisticated. I was concerned that with such thoughtful dishes offered, they would be difficult to deal with for my gluten free dining companion, but the...waiter worked with her to come up with a full meal that fit her dietary restrictions and was still great. Highly recommend this place.
we went there with a group of 12 people that no one speaks French, so we were a bit chaotic, but the waiter was so incredibly patient and explains the menu and the wee and his recommendations were simply unbelievable, we had not only. a delicious dinner with brilliant wein we also had such a great time in the separate dining room that has such a beautiful atmosphere.
