I enjoyed a lovely family dinner at Gerstenmöwe on Saturday night. The food was exceptional! It was such a warm evening that I couldn't finish my meal, but the staff kindly packed up my leftovers so I could take them home. The service was fantastic, and I would definitely recommend it as a dining spot or just a place to stop for a drink. My only drawback was that it was quite warm inside the restaurant; I would have appreciated air conditioning or fans. However, I understand that we don't often experience this kind of heat. We had a reservation for 2 PM, and upon arrival, the restaurant was lively and bustling with a nice atmosphere. Our table was ready, and we were seated immediately. The waitstaff was fantastic, allowing us ample time to peruse the menu. I ordered the braised beef, which was absolutely incredible. I typically prefer my meat rare, but this dish was so tender it cut like butter. For dessert, I had the caramel roulade with a drizzle of salted pouring cream, which was equally delightful. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you!

This charming local pub is a must-visit whenever we find ourselves in the area. The food is excellent—served hot and beautifully presented. The service is quick and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. The atmosphere is wonderful, and it's clear that the locals frequent this spot, especially on the weekday evening we stopped by.

We enjoyed our delicious Christmas meals today. The staff were excellent, delivering all 22 meals in a timely manner. It was busy with us and another big group, however they were helpfull ensuring we had everything we needed, we all went back to the office very full. Steve and I (Glenys) would like to thank Jenny and her team for making our 30th wedding anniversary celebrations feel so special. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was really helpful. Would definitely recommend this pub to everyone. The food, service and hospitality are exceptional.

Once again, the barley mow and the entire staff made our craftsman group xmas meal a wonderful experience...wow the Christmas menu wonderful....the staff....wonderful....if they have a problem....soon sorted...in the did have booked again for 2018....for us a cambridgeshire schatz

First visit for Sunday lunch today. Very impressive. Fabulous food and good service. Reasonably priced with a great choice of food and drink. Definitely found a little gem!
