We went with a party and visited Breisach on the way to Colmar. The city is actually small, but picturesque and interesting. We had to eat lunch because it was 3PM before we reached Colmar. One of the members of our party insulted our waitress inside, she came very angry and needed to go. We sat outside, weren't aware. She took our order, we had 50 minutes to eat before the bus would go. After 45 min, all who sat with us had received their food and were in the end; we were still served nothing but drinks. It took 15 minutes for our server to take our order. She keep disappearing between trips to other tables and was gone for lengthy periods. Finally coffee, tea, and desserts arrived, but, after 45 minutes, our requested salad was still not there. She managed to avoid all eye contact during that time. Finally, one in our party went inside to find her. When told to forget the salad and just bring the check, she was extremely rude. We were quite late for the lunch but Bechtel still seemed reasonably busy and they still had a small food menu available after normal lunch time. The salad with Turkey was large with a nice dressing (EUR 11,20), the Porc Schnitzel (EUR 13,70) was also well prepared.
