Bert's Cafe and Takeaway

One of the Best Home catering food i have tried. Far more superior than Happy Wok catering. Food tasted very muck like home cooking. Remind me of my mum;s cooking. Quality is excellent. His cafe food is of of the best i;ve tried. Recommended is his Fired Hokkien Prawn noodles, Bar chor mee, Chee Kway. Kway Chuap. Prices are reasonable. Bert is very friendly and have good rapport with his customers.

A great place out east to get authentic Singapore food like Chee Kueh and Chye Teow Kuay which you won't find in many other Malaysian osr Singapore cafes in the city. The Char Kuay Teow is to die for! The fried Hokkien mee also tastes like something you would get straight out of Singapore! They are open on Fridays and Saturdays only but their weekly specials are something to look out for.

Very ordinary tasting food, matched by ordinary service. I ordered Singapore Noodles (a dish that's hard to mess up) but it was one of the least palatable that I've eaten. My wife and I have eaten at many Singapore restaurants both here and Singapore and this one is just not up to par.

Always come to this place whenever I have a craving for Singapore food. Reasonable price and their weekly special is something you look forward to. Chef Albert is friendly and welcomes feedback on his cooking. A must place to go when you miss authentic Singapore cuisine.
