Black Rooster Bar and Grill

Looking for a non-franchise-chain restaurant for lunch, my colleague and I stumbled upon the Black Rooster. From the outside, we knew this was the place for tasty, unique food and a pleasant pub atmosphere. The BR did not disappoint. On the inside, we were greeted by a relatively-posh interior and a friendly Hello from the barmaid around the corner. We grabbed a comfortable booth and enjoyed a great lunch and some good, Canadian beer. Friendliness flows as easy as the beer, here.

The Black Rooster is probably my favorite restaurant now.Food was absolutely amazing, they understand that burgers should be wider not JUST taller (looking at you Nelson)The atmosphere was lovely. Dark and intimate.Prices were very reasonable.The service was fantastic too.Renae was amazing. Had a great experience here at the rooster! We ate here twice on our trip and both times were great! One night was the pub and one night was at the restaurant, both of which were good!! Menu is excellent and lots of options! Serving...staff was really good and friendly! Cleanliness was also good! Right at the hotel we were staying at so the location was very good for us! Will definitely eat here again!

This great sports bar is located adjacent to the Super 8 Motel and has a great selection of food as well as Happy Hour and drink specials...the staff are friendly and cater to your needs...watch the sports on various large screen tv's, play pool or if your in the modd try your luck at Keno,pull tabs or sit in the outdoor patio's (two)... Grabed a spicy chicken sluice to go with some Yam frits. Delicious. Really good food and reasonable prices. The staff was pleasant and the restaurant looked clean and in good order. Nice atmosphere. Would go back... there are some other interesting options that look very good. Service: Exit

Stood at the door for a while. 2 waitresses walked right buy me. Looked at me without smiling then walked right by, so I left. I immediately called and asked for the manager. I told him why I just walked out and he made excuses for the waitresses and seemed uninterested.

Delicious food, amazing service, good pub atmosphere, keno and poolOverall a great place to go for dinner, drinks and some mild gambling.

Not great, slow service, over cooked wings, soggy salad.... This place needs to make some improvements!
