With a buddy for a drink to try something else in the pouring area. What a great little find. I'm a big fan of old school pubs with a great atmosphere and that attracted all boxes. It was very busy on a Thursday night. The staff was fast (something rare in Germany) and they had a good selection of beer. The pub had a warm atmosphere and although my German is relatively poor, the staff took up and offered to speak in English and to offer English menus. Always smile. I had the reserve ribs that were good enough; I'm more a hearty type, so the sweet sauce wasn't my thing, but there were many other options. We went around the city on a Friday night and looked for a little nightlife and after a little walk we stumbled in this place. Unlike all other bars that seemed mostly empty, this place was very crowded, but we were lucky to get another table. You have a large drink menu with many kinds of beer and spirits and a menu. We were not really hungry, but the food that the others looked good, and the service was good and fast despite the crowd here.

Der Schluckspeckt oder auch Schlucki unter den Einheimischen genannt ist eins der verbliebenen Szenelokale in Lich und ein typisches Bistrot im rustikalen Stil. Es bietet Hausmannskost und schnelle Gerichte zu vernünftigen Preisen an. Der Service ist stets freundlich. Es gibt auch einen Keller sowie einen kleinen Außenbereich.

Freundlicher, jugendlicher Service. Die Gäste gehören eher zur jüngeren Generation, was sich gelegentlich im Geräuschpegel äußert, aber da die ganze Atmosphäre offen und tolerant, stört das nicht entscheidend. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich und phantasievoll.
