You search for black forest cake in Baden-Baden and this is the first hit, with good reason. The cake itself was well done, although perhaps a little bit disappointed with the portions sizes but it wasn't overly expensive so I could have easily taken another (service permitting). Creamy, fluffy sponge, cherry liquor, and of course the cherries themselves, all as expected. I took the opportunity to have a bit of a late breakfast. Coffee was acceptable but not worth going just for that, neither were the croissants but considering the alternative was hotel continental breakfast that morning then I can say it was a fantastic choice made that day. rick steves said that we came here for black forest cake, so we knew that this place had to be at least atmospheric (but low expectations to the actual food.) we have the erdbeer vanilla cream cake and the black forest cake and both were great. eating out was so sweet. the tablecloth is victorias secret pink and white stripes. they can order good looking food and amazing looking sunflowers or just go in and get their cake. y

It's a good cafe in Baden Baden and prominently located. The confectionery choice is also good but if you need to order a pastry, you need to walk to the bakery to order. The service is slow hence, you need to exercise patience. The ambiance is good as it gives you a choice for indoor as well as outdoor seating.

yum! dolce vita speaks for itself. havannatortchen is worth leaving the diet plan. great staff! all good! ps what? isn't it? the black forest is the best in Germany? sign me! we had a great breakfast at 11 o'clock. the terrace is perfectly positioned for the morning sun. Do not forget to take the delicious dessert that they cannot choose from bakery and they will bring it to them on the terrace.

Very nice atmosphere and tasty desserts. But the staff at the bakery was not very hospitable and a bit rude.
