We thought we would have lunch out today but hadn't appreciated what a delight it would be. We settled on the fixed price menu. The place was extremely busy. I asked the waiter to explain what the spanish menu meant in english. The waiter was excellent. He went away and came back a little time later with a handwritten list in english of all the dishes. He was so helpful. We had sqid with rice to start, i then had veal and my partner had pork. My partner finished with cheesecake. All washed down with a bottle of wine, bottle of water and 3 coffees. All this for €22.40. The waiter really did make our day because nothing was too much trouble for him. A real delight. Please visit.
Fuimos a este restaurante varias veces durante nuestra estancia en Playa América. A ver, la comida no es nada del otro mundo pero tampoco veníamos con la expectación de comer de lujo. El caso es que en la terraza se estaba muy agradable. Cervezas frías, buen ambiente y una buena variedad de comida. De hecho desayunamos bastante bien durante varios días. Me habría gustado que las hamburguesas hubieran sido de mejor calidad pero tampoco estaban malas. Eso si, los focos que ponen en la terraza por la noche como iluminación son bastante desagradables porque mires hacia donde mires alguno hay apuntándote a la cara!
We were told that the ‘churros’ were made by them, not that they had been sitting on the counter for the last six hours. My coffee was cold. My wife’s ‘tea’ was hot water with a few leaves thrown in for good measure. My croissant, ordered with butter and marmalade, had no butter at all and the waiter said he didn’t bring any “because the croissant already had some in it”! She asked for toast with fresh tomato puré. What came was an oil sodden mass which remained ‘present’ for most of her day. We should have tried up the road; we will next time.
Bonito lugar y amplia terraza ideal para niños por q está el parque al lado !! Pero un mal servicio- comandas sin traer, las que han llegado hay que recordarlo un par de veces, si pides algo a alguien que no es el camarero “asignado” a tu mesa te dicen que ellos no lo llevan que cuando se acerque nuestro camarero que se lo pidamos a el. La comida bien, sin mas Reserve uma mesa agora
Entramos a cenar tras varios intentos fallidos en otros restaurantes de la zona. Está bien para quitar el hambre y salir del paso. Nosotros pedimos croquetas pulpo y espaguetis con boloñesa. Estaba todo bien pero sin más. La atención buena, nos hicieron un hueco para cenar ya que estaba lleno y nos atendieron bastante rápido. Los camareros muy agradables.
Waited for 10 minutes to get served. Waited for another 15 minutes to get the drinks. We were a party of four and a waiter brought out 3 drinks. Duh. We had ordered 4 drinks! Waited another 15 minutes to speak to someone about the missing drink. €7.30 for 4 drinks and not a single word of apology. Don’t bother with this place.
