We have eaten several times in Andiamo and had good experiences. In the past we have thought that the food is good and our server in the bar (Richard) was great and always made our experience special. Unfortunately, this time it was different. We decided to celebrate my sister's birthday today. When we entered with my older mother, who doesn't change or stands well, the hostess answered the phone before us and continued to answer several questions in the phone while we were waiting for a long time. She's a young girl, and probably doesn't know better, but someone should tell her that is really not acceptable to a hostess to customers who are in person for someone on the phone. After we had s...

We had a very disappointing meal here. We waited over an hour to get our main courses and when it did finally arrive it was not good to say the least. The linguine with clams tasted and looked terrible.it was bland, clams were not cleaned properly and it was swimming in a clear liquid that did not look appealing. I sent it back which is something I rarely do, especially since I was starving. We asked to speak to the manager about waiting so long for our food and she was point blank rude, I actually was shocked by her manner. She disputed what time we arrived, we said it was 6pm and she said it was 6.15pm. Did it really make a difference when it was still an hour later when we received our foo...

Make an order in advance that took 40min to find out later that the person behind the phone placed the order wrong (unless the order is only two sandwiches and the place was not busy). Completely defeated the purpose, the order in advance. Even the person did not know what a San Pellegrino was, what is shocking when considering that this is an Italian restaurant. The restaurant did not try to make it for the whole waiting period (total of 1 hour wait to get two paninis and a sparkling water). Finally, when finally recognized the bag with the food on the beach, there were no napkins or utensils to eat the salad that came with it!

There were 8 in our party with an 8 years old. We brought 2 bottles of wine with us, but some of us first had prosecco or cocktails. The Calamari and meatball appetizers were very good. I was not so happy with my seared tuna, which was cut strangely and my husband was not really happy with his mussels and shrimps (both overcooked) on pasta. Frankly, I cannot remember what others have ordered, but at least two others in our party were not excessively enthusiastic about their choice. There are better options for good Italian cuisine in the area.
