Enjoyed a delicious lunch at this unusual stop in Bonaigua, at the end of the Bonaigua ski run. Can also reached by road if not skiing (C-28 . Food was fresh, local and delicious! Speciality are the chips with scrambled eggs, the Olivier salad and grilled meats (Lamb cutlets were delicious! . Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and good wine cellar (Vina Pomal was superb!

I hadn’t been to Cap del Port since pre-kids so c. 7 years. Well, the fantastic “smashed eggs” (ous estrellats) keep their flavour and charm. The sausage which you can order on the side is crispy and salty very yummy. You can hardly eat anything else the portion is huge. And the lovely staff who will feed you and love you very quickly so you can get back to the slopes.

Pros: it’s right in the middle of the ski area, so if you want a break before resuming your ski day, go for it. Cons: expensive, and not a wide variety of food. We wanted some sandwiches and they just had botifarra, period. 8 quid per sandwich, which is a lot, but it was good.

Great coffee stop enroute to France. Efficient and helpful staff. Good views of the surrounding mountains. Would be a good lunch stop.
