I really wanted to like this place and give them grace. With a wife working in the restaurant business during the pandemic I get the challenges associated with being short staffed. And I should have read the other 200+ reviews on Yelp before visiting. I came in with a plan to work on my computer while waiting for my son at swim practice. My family and I went there for a birthday dinner; we had a nice evening. If you are looking for the most authentic Mexican food, this could not be the place. This is an American version of some of the best choices that Mexican cuisine has to offer; it is an excellent American version, though. The food is delicious, fresh and full of taste. The Horchata tasted like it came out of a cardboard box and not homemade. It had a nice taste, though not authentic. They added a little cinnamon at the top, adding a bit of personalization, but that would not be the place for me to grab a chest and Fresh Horchata. We were in the area on a date with my wife and had a few hours to spend together with no kids. We saw this cute place next to the metra train station and thought it would be great. The place large, had an outdoor dining area and overall looked good. Unfortunately that was not the case with the chips and salsa or drinks. We had planned to eat and drink here but after the chips and salsa arrived we had a feeling based on the bland chips and not so flavorful salsa that this was not the place for us. I went Sunday after for lunch and really enjoyed it. I had the margarita flight, which was amazing! All the flavors tasted great! I also had the pineapple with chicken, steak and shrimp, delicious!!!

So bad! The place looked dirty. How can there be multiple locations of this terrible food. Way too many good Mexican restaurants around to eat this.
