Chateau Leognan in the Pessac-Leognan Appellation, dates back to the 17th century It has been abandoned for a long time, but at the beginning of the 21st century the current owners completely renovated it, as well as the chapel to it. It is recently available for accommodation️ Its vineyards were originally sown and managed by Domains de Chevalier, which are Graves Grand Cru certified. The place is great for rest, walks, there is a very good restaurant️ As you walk you enjoy the aromas of flowering shrubs and trees, or chasing wild bunnies. The dog is friendly and enjoys visitors. Don't forget to say that the tour also includes a tasting. Cheers! ️️

We had the pleasure of lunch with the bubble formula of the terroir at 154 euros. In the end, no one asked us if we wanted to visit the castle and make the tasting. And they forgot to serve us the second glass of wine at the table. Much too expensive paid for a simple meal with a simple glass of wine. We're not coming back. Sure. Too bad for this castle and its reputation.

The visit not to the height of our expectations, everything was in work, apart from the chapel we absolutely saw nothing... damage The tasting was very good. 4 wines with explanations,

Nice castle, well maintained. We came to the open doors. We tasted different wines and visited barrels. Very nice staff.
