great eating in the lounge bar, but avoid the front bar or eat outside at night. when a friend lived in port adelaide, we decided to leave this place first. the lunch we were served was quickly prepared, a great fresh salad along with our net, in my case a more generous and better tasting cut than I am used to and the seafood basket of my friend was delightful. the next day we came back to lunch and I did a steak that was perfectly cooked while my friend stuck with the seafood (formerly) also the salads with the meals were first class, the service was friendly, and it was a relaxing, comfortable sitting opportunity in the lounge with a great view of the harbour. after a few more...read more

time to update all on this pub....note the negative reviews are usually from 2015. they first dropped me off, but I recently (mai 2017) visited there a quiznacht and could not really blame them. 2 brothers now own this pub (since 2016) and have created a great little pub. the Bistro area serves beautiful meals and has friendly staff. above is a functional space that is quite well contained (toilets and bar,) and leads to an entire weather balcony. the first commercial is really worth a visit if they are looking for good pub food, a place to relax and have a drink or two.

wow best pub meal in harbour. great music and service. great hearty meals that were excellent for money. the pie special reminded me of the cakes 20 years ago, fantastic pastries and a mouthwater filling. the chicken shnitzel with jäger sauce is the best thing I had in the old. we will definitely come back.

the food took too long, add at least 1 hour from the order to eat. the food quality was below the average and the amount was very little.

Work. Well i used to work there and it was a great place to work, good food, good people and just a great pub.
