Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Love this place! The food is always good and I love browsing through the shop because I find cool things that I can't always find other places. In general, I have to say that at most locations I have visited, I have had good to decent service. There have been a time or two where I haven't had the best service but you will have that anywhere. As far as food goes, they have a lot of options to choose from and it's always been good in my opinion. Breakfast here is my favorite and the only place I like to go for breakfast. The pancakes are my favorite...they are crispy around the edges, but soft and fluffy everywhere else and have a great flavor. They are served with little bottles of real maple...

My family went there yesterday. The Waitress Chris was EXTREMELY rude! My husband wanted a piece of pie to take home. She said you have to eat it here and any that is left over you CANNOT take home. It has to be served cold! My daughter went to see if it could be ordered for takeout. The Waitress started slamming things on the table! I finally had ENOUGH of her attitude. I said very politely I have had Covid for 2 months and we are just trying to have a nice family Dinner. She pointed to my Daughter and said she called me a lair. I said nobody called you a liar. She went all into yes she did by not believing me. I said no she just checked to see if it could be ordered as takeout. Very snotty...

ORDERING CARRY OUT??? Order at the minimum 1 hour ahead. In the past 2 years we have ordered carry out around 6 times. EVERY time the wait is around 45 minutes. You would think we learned our lesson and moved on, right? Nah, we sometimes go back hoping for new management or better service, but it hasn't happened yet. I'm guessing the people sitting down inside don't wait 30-45 minutes for their food, right? And we're not alone, multiple customers are inside waiting and having the same repeating issues. If you're leadership reading this right now, there is no better way to put this change something or someone or yourself, you're doing a horrible job and this is obviously going on long enough...

We ordered the southern fried chicken and it was under cooked! I called and spoke to manager Sherri and she was outstanding on how she handled the situation! Very professional and caring. This made things so much better after all I had went through that day! You just never know what people are dealing with. Cracker Barrel if you keep managers around like Sherri I see a bright future for this restaurant! I gave a three star for the store experience but I give Sherri a 5 star!
