Crotto Sant'antonio

Cuisine attentive to tradition, with interesting innovative ideas thanks to a short menu without frills. Tasty and well executed dishes. We tasted an excellent Ligurian-style rabbit, a state-of-the-art pappa al pomodoro and a very good veal with tuna sauce. The external space of the restaurant, located at the foot of a delightful little church and immersed in the greenery of a well-kept park, is of great charm. The unlimited wine list offers original proposals at the right price. Interesting selection of digestives for after dinner. The service is attentive, courteous and fast. Were it not for the distance that separates us, the Grotto could be the place to visit regularly.

Couple of weeks ago wanted to try the entrecote with creamy pepper sauce as was advertised on Instagram, which we asked to be cooked extremely rare . Got a well done not so tender piece of meat without any sauce and when we asked why no sauce were given some brothy water with neither cream nor pepper. Today went in for lunch because everybody deserves a second chance. Nobody came up to seat us so sat ourselves down at the last available table only to be told after 10 minutes of being ignored that they were too busy to have us. No third chance necessary.

I went to eat with my partner, the change of management feels everything, excellent food, delicious appetizers, delicious main courses and exceptional first courses, in a pleasantly informal setting with an excellent grill aroma, super recommended !!!
