I've had really good takeaway coffee from here a few times so decided to give breakfast a go with a few friends. Sat at a table for about 15 minutes with no service. In fact the staff would look at me then walk away to go and check their phones. I'm sure one employee who was particularly good at not serving us must be a relative of the owners as he virtually did nothing apart from ignore customers and check his phone. Eventually we asked for some menus. The menus were filthy with grime and spilt drinks on them. The tables also were not clean. We ordered coffees which were very good. The food we ordered came fairly quickly but was totally underwhelming.
DCH owned by Dane used to be good when it first open. We sat down at our table and waited 10 minutes to be served so I then ended up going to the counter to order. The girl behind the counter was unfriendly and seemed like she didn't really want to be working there. Waited another 10 minutes for our coffee which was just placed on our table. No smile or acknowledgement.The cook walked out to get a drink wearing dirty clothes. With plenty of cafe choices around I'll go elsewhere next time.
Avoid this place at all costs. Overpriced and weak coffee, and a bunch of staff who stand around talking instead of actually working. On average, you wait around 20-25 minutes for your coffee... and even longer if you order food.How this place is still trading, is beyond me.The sooner this place closes, the better.Worst coffee in the Mountains bar none!!!
Stopped in for a coffee each on the way through. Outdoor and indoor seating available. It was nice to sit outside in the sun. We ordered two cappuccinos and our coffees were served five minutes apart. We thought that was a little strange but coffees were good and service was friendly. Toilet a bit messy. Located on the Great Western Highway.
