Today was our first day in Zurich and we decided to look for somewhere that had swiss cuisine and Google did not let us down. I had the Mushroom soup for starter and my partner had Pork belly, every single bite brought us so much happiness. For mains I had the Veal steak and my partner had the Sirloin, both were cooked to perfection!! We took the waiters Recommendation on wine which he selected a Swiss merlot which was a medium price but also paired very well with the meal. The only thing I wish I'd done differently was to remember the waiters name as he made the experience. He knew exactly what he was serving, what to recommend and from table to table his ability to switch between languages...
A great hotel that we are always happy to visit. Unfortunately, the restaurant can't quite keep up (yet? . The service is sometimes unfriendly and always good for negative surprises. If you criticize this nicely and constructively, you will be met with incomprehension and dismissed unfriendliness. A pity.
Reserved a table for a business dinner tonight and the food was excellent. Service to match as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a reasonably quiet setting for a good business discussion and could possibly lead to a deal! Compliments to the kitchen and service.
