Don Jose Mexican Food

Don Jose has been a family favorite for a long time. It used to be an old IHOP, but now it serves traditional Mexican food. They offer hot plates, chips and salsa, and a wide variety of combination plates. You can either come hungry and enjoy a full plate to yourself, or do like we do and share a plate! In the past, they only accepted cash, but now they accept debit and credit cards with the same fee. Enjoy your meal at Don Jose!

Food was pretty good. The queso dip was our favorite thing we ordered and of course the Carmel fried ice cream was incredible! Probably one of the best fried ice creams I?ve ever had. Chips needed some salt but other than that it it was good overall. Super friendly staff.

This place has been a family favorite of my husband's for decades and I can see why. The food was delicious and came out fast. The staff were friendly and attentive. We were probably in there for around 30 minutes total. Will definitely be back!

Food was good so was the margaritas what i didnt not like was the cash only and the $2.50 withdraw fee at the atm inside the restaurant price wasn't that bad $50 for 2 margaritas a mexican pizza and a street taco plate

My first restaurant that I visited in Phoenix. Great service and delish food! I have fajita steak burrito and chicken tacos. Their salsa sauce is a little spicy and a nice addition to the dishes.
