I ordered the spinach enchiladas with verde sauce, and they were amazing—tangy and light. The verde sauce soaked into my rice, adding delicious flavor to it as well. The prices were very reasonable too. It’s a wonderful little spot right up the hill. I can’t remember my server’s name, but she was hilarious and wore these fantastic, giant martini earrings. I will definitely be returning!

I was quoted a 15-minute wait time, but when I arrived after 20 minutes, I was told my order was almost ready. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, I was finally informed that it hadn't even been started yet and that I could just leave. I've been a loyal customer for five years, but with so many other options available, I can no longer support such poor service.

We love our family at Vera Cruz in Cincinnati Ohio but were in the Taylor Mill area and stopped at El Jinete’s based on a reco from a friend. Good menu without being terribly overwhelming and really good food. I ordered the Plato Loco and my wifeordered pork Chili Verde and both dishes were very tasty. I’d definitely eat her again when I’m the area!

There are no drink specials available. I ordered well tequila but was served a tequila-flavored liqueur instead, and I was charged for mid-shelf tequila. I haven't tried the food yet. However, the staff is extremely nice and polite. The friendly service and good beer are the main reasons I keep coming back.

Great restaurant with friendly staff that provide fast service. This place has the best salsa I have ever tasted hands down. The food here is delicious I've tried multiple meals and love them all. Personally I would recommend this place to anyone. Love it!
